Young Musicians Showcase Presents Julian Chiu & Friends

Julian Chiu is a 17-year-old jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader based in Los Angeles. Julian is a YoungArts Winner and a recipient of a DownBeat Student Music Award. A graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and the Colburn School, he will continue his jazz studies at NYU Steinhardt in the fall. Julian is extremely excited to showcase his unique, expressive compositional and soloistic voice with a band featuring:
