Young Musicians Showcase Presents – Charlie Cohn Quartet

Charlie Cohn is a pianist and composer from Los Angeles. Primarily a jazz pianist, he writes both classical and jazz music. His compositions draw from a variety of musical influences—rock, jazz, electronic, and experimental music—as well as from visual art and nature. Charlie is a Los Angeles Philharmonic Composer Fellow, and has participated in Juilliard’s Summer Composition Program. As a pianist, Charlie plays in the top jazz groups at the Colburn School, and is a 2026 YoungArts winner in jazz piano as well as a Music Center Spotlight Semifinalist.
